Today we will focus on ceramics, more specifically on Chinese ceramics and its variations from the time of the Han dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. Chinese ceramics is, in my humble opinion, one of the most beautiful varieties of this branch of artistic craft. The above considerations were based on one of the thematic lectures related to the exhibition “In the Realm of the Dragon”, which was presented in Krakow and later in Warsaw.For a long time I have been inclined to deal with this subject, mainly because it is extremely extensive. Therefore, in this post will present the basic concepts of Chinese ceramics from the period mentioned. Characteristics of the rest of the ages, as well as details of each of the ceramic styles I decided to keep for later. This entry is thus an introduction to the whole cycle on Chinese ceramics.
