I will start with a series of museums of art, from the newest ones. In recent years, in Asiabegan to appear quite interesting in their form modern and modern art museums. Despite its attitude towards modernization and futuristic forms they do not quarrel with the traditions of Asian cities. They are rather symbols of their development.
Below is the first part of the most interesting futuristic museums in Asia. Of course, the word “most interesting” refers to my humble opinion and in the scientific community they don’tt have to stand in the first place. They aren’t also all examples of this kind of assumption.
Let’s start with South Korea, and more specifically from the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul (photo above). This design center was built by Korean architect Samoo team, who collaborated with Zaha Hadid,Iraqi-British architect. Construction, started in April 2009, ended with the opening of the complex on 21 March 2014. So this is a fairly new element of Seoul’s landscape, which however has made from the city World Design Capital quite quickly. The complex includes large exhibition spaces as well as seminar and lecture rooms and also stores with global reach. A special elements are the gardens on the roof of the building with an unusual rose garden, as well as the restored elements of the fortress in Seoul, which add a little features of tradition.
also interesting in its form is museum in Ordos, a city situated in the Chinese Autonomous Prefecture: Inner Mongolia. This is an amorphous building, which perfectly fits into the landscape of this area (It located practically in the Gobi desert). The construction was completed in 2011. The whole outside is covered by polished metal plates, which reflect light, as also protect a building from frequent sandstorms.
The interior, however, is quite different– naturalistic, bathed in light, composite of small galleries connected by bridges.
