Hello! It’s time for a new entry. Recently, I acquired a very interesting book on Chinese architecture. I can not wait to share with you the information contained in it. But unfortunately, architecture has to wait for now. I started two series devoted to Chinese art and I would prefer to close them first. Hehhh … I think I have to start writing more than once a week 🙂 Well, but not prolonging, because long texts are written well, but there is no one to read them. Today, another entry from the Chinese pottery series, this time talking about the type of dishes known as blanc de Chine. I invite you!

Holidays, holidays and after holidays. After a blissful period of family sitting at the table and gluttony, it is time to return to work, study, and daily duties. The last article on the site appeared very, very long ago, and I still wonder how to reward it. There is such an adage: studies are not a hare, they will not escape. But winter end-of-term examinations yes 🙂 So forgive this long break and read the new article!

Today we will focus on ceramics, more specifically on Chinese ceramics and its variations from the time of the Han dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. Chinese ceramics is, in my humble opinion, one of the most beautiful varieties of this branch of artistic craft. The above considerations were based on one of the thematic lectures related to the exhibition “In the Realm of the Dragon”, which was presented in Krakow and later in Warsaw. For a long time I have been inclined to deal with this subject, mainly because it is extremely extensive. Therefore, in this post will present the basic concepts of Chinese ceramics from the period mentioned. Characteristics of the rest of the ages, as well as details of each of the ceramic styles I decided to keep for later. This entry is thus an introduction to the whole cycle on Chinese ceramics.

Hello! The time has come for the last article dedicated to futuristic museums in Asia. Today I will present you complexes, which not only I like the most, but which are also almost at the top of the list of places that I will visit when I finally go to this wonderful continent (keep your fingers crossed for that it will happen as soon as possible!).

Let’s start with the question: What’s in the main picture?
